Patellar tendonitis (jumper’s knee): An inflammation of the patellar tendon at the point where the kneecap attaches, which mainly occurs due to excessive strain when jumping and running. Typical in sports such as basketball and volleyball.

Meniscus injury: A tear in the meniscus that can occur due to twisting of the knee under stress and is associated with pain and restricted movement. This can cause acute or chronic symptoms.

Cruciate ligament tear: A complete or partial tear of the anterior or posterior cruciate ligament in the knee, usually after sporting activities that involve abrupt movements or twisting. This leads to instability and pain in the knee.

Shoulder Impingement Syndrome: Painful irritation of the rotator cuff tendons caused by impingement in the shoulder joint. This often occurs with repetitive overhead movements.

Rotator Cuff Tear: A tear in one or more of the tendons of the rotator cuff, which stabilizes the shoulder. This leads to pain and limitations in arm movement.

Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis): Inflammation and subsequent stiffening of the joint capsule, leading to a loss of mobility and severe pain in the shoulder.

Acromioclavicular Joint Osteoarthritis: Degenerative changes in the joint between the collarbone and the shoulder blade, causing shoulder pain and restricted movement.

Biceps Tendinitis: Inflammation of the biceps tendon at the shoulder, often caused by repeated strain or injury, leading to pain and functional impairments.

Herniated Disc: When the outer shell of a disc tears and the inner core presses on nearby nerves, causing severe back pain and radiating pain in the arms or legs. Common in the lumbar or cervical spine.

Lumbalgia (Sciatica): Sudden, acute back pain caused by muscle tension or poor posture. Often occurs after heavy or improper loading.

Cervical Spondylosis: Age-related wear of the cervical vertebrae, which can lead to pain, stiffness, and possible nerve compression. Often accompanied by headaches and numbness in the arms.

Spondylolisthesis: A shifting of one vertebra over the one below it, leading to back pain and potential nerve compression. It can be acute or chronic.

Scoliosis: A lateral curvature of the spine, often occurring in childhood or adolescence, and associated with posture problems and pain.

Hip Osteoarthritis (Coxarthrosis): A degenerative joint disease where the cartilage in the hip joint is worn down, leading to pain, stiffness, and movement issues. Common in older adults.

Trochanteric Bursitis: Inflammation of the bursa on the outside of the hip, causing pain during movement and pressure. Often caused by overuse or improper movement patterns.

Hip Labral Tear: A tear in the cartilage ring of the hip joint, causing pain and a feeling of instability, often due to injury or overuse.

Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI): A misalignment in the hip joint where the femoral head and the acetabulum rub unnaturally, causing pain and rapid wear of the joint.

Hip Dislocation: An injury where the femoral head is displaced from the hip socket. It usually occurs after traumatic events like an accident.

Plantar Fasciitis: Inflammation of the plantar fascia on the sole of the foot, causing pain, especially with the first steps in the morning. Often caused by overuse or improper footwear.
